Obituary

Larry M. Vetch passed away suddenly on April 30th, 2026, at the age of 60.

Larry was born in Miles City, Montana and that is where he graduated from the Sacred Heart High School. He went on to the Black Hills State University in South Dakota to study construction engineering.

In 1988 Larry joined the Airforce. He was stationed at Eielson Alaska, Ellsworth South Dakota and Ft. Bragg Nort Carolina and worked there as a heavy duty equipment operator. Larry was very proud to serve in the US military and was devastated to get medically discharged in 1996. When Larry got a job with the Corps of Engineers, he felt he could still serve as a civilian.

Larry had a great passion for hunting, fishing, bowling, classic cars and guns and could fix practically anything. When Larry met Margo, he found another passion: horses. Together they built a ranch in Montana from the ground up. When they moved to Missouri for his new job at the power plant, Larry made sure there was a safe place for their horses.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence W. Vetch and Diana Goodson.

Larry is survived by his wife and soul mate Margo, children Justin (Emilie) and Amanda, grandchildren Orion and Gavin, sisters MaShelle (Brett) and Tina (Kurt), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Warsaw Funeral and Cremation Chapel, 420 Commercial St. in Warsaw.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Memorial donations in memory of Larry can be made to the Veterans Affairs.
