Linda C. Flippin, age 77, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away at her home on Monday, July 27,2026. She was born in Warsaw on May 21, 1949, the daughter of Kenneth and Nina Martin Flippin.

Linda was raised in the Warsaw area and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1967. She then attended Cosmetology School and began a long career of cutting and styling hair in Warsaw. She loved cutting hair and making women beautiful until her health no longer permitted her to do so. She also loved her flowers and gardening, going to garage sales, fishing, mushroom hunting, and playing cards. She made sure that she taught all the grandkids how to play pitch and rummy. She was also an avid baker and loved sharing goodies with family and friends.

Linda was the backbone of her family and loved to spend time with all her grandchildren. She also loved to go to church and enjoyed her church family. She will be greatly missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Steve Knox, a grandson, Marcus Kreisler, and her brother, Kenneth Flippin, Jr.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Knox, Grandchildren, Ciera (Marcus) Sullivan, Mason Knox, Wesley (Cassidy) Drake, Gracie Drake, Wyatt Drake and Maci Drake, two great-granddaughters, Paisley and Karley Sullivan, a daughter-in-love, Kelly (Scott) Drake, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

A visitation for Linda will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Warsaw Funeral and Cremation, located at 420 Commercial St. in Warsaw. Grave side services will follow the visitation at 11:30 A.M. at New Home Cemetery near Warsaw. Arrangements are entrusted to Warsaw Funeral and Cremation.
