Obituary

Marcus Lane Kreisler of Columbia, Missouri, died at his home on March 15, 2026. Born July 1, 2004, Marcus was 21 years old.

A 2021 graduate of Warsaw High School, Marcus moved to Columbia with the love of his life, Whitney Brown. He began his working life as a manager at Taco Bell in Warsaw, later managed a T-Mobile store, and ultimately found his niche at Veteran’s United Home Loans as a Dedicated Loan Specialist. Marcus loved the family-like culture at Veteran’s United, made many close friends there, and eagerly embraced opportunities to grow and advance in his career.

Marcus will be remembered for his brilliant mind and articulation, his love of learning and inquisitive nature, and a boundless curiosity for life. He had a deep passion for music and art—always up for a good concert—and delighted in sports trivia. Above all, Marcus was caring and loving, with an easy sense of humor and a beautiful soul that made everyone around him feel valued and supported.

He is survived by his mother, Miranda Foster; his father, Tim Kreisler; brother, Mason Knox, grandparents Brenda Reynolds, Randy Foster, and Lynette Kreisler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at The Vault in Warsaw. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 PM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Warsaw Funeral & Cremation.
