Obituary

The family of Romie Lynn Whittle is saddened to announce his passing on July 21, 2026, at the age of 65. He busted into the world on July 26, 1960, the son of Romie and Sharon Whittle. He lived in the Kansas City metro area most of his life until moving to the lake in 2019. He worked numerous careers until he found his nitch. laying flooring until retirement in 2015.

He Married the love of his life Sara in August of 1999. They had 2 handsome sons to go along with his 2 beautiful daughters.

He loved to travel, fish, hunt, go boating, ride his Harley, and his slots. He had a fierce fiery spirit with a loving gentle generous soul. His passing will leave the largest void in the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Miller, grandson, Jaryd Dean, stepmother, Betty Whittle, stepbrother, Robert Limbaugh, mother and father-in-law, Beth and Lawrence Yount and Steven Turner, sister-in-law, Dana Yount, and loving aunts, uncles and friends.

Leaving to morn his death, wife Sara, daughters Amee (Shannon) Sizemore, Missy (Donnie) Bass, sons, Joesph (Caitlyn) Whittle and Wyatt Whittle and Godson, Tommy (Alexis) Watson. 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his father Romie Whittle, stepfather John Miller, sister Joyce Whittle, nephews Ryan Whittle and Christian Higgins, and best bro Albert Ray, and a large group of family and great friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Mike Onka Memorial Building at 11520 Putman Street in Sugar Creek, Missouri, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Warsaw Funeral and Cremation.  Obituary submitted by the family.
