Sallie B. Richardson, age 71, 0f Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at her home. 

She was born on February 17, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Edward and Aileen Kelly Kroll.  

Sallie lived a life devoted to caring for others, both personally and professionally.  She graduated from Grandview High School and began working as a Unit Secretary at Research Medical Center immediately after high school.  While continuing to work there, she earned her Registered Nursing degree and dedicated many years of service to the hospital before retiring. She later served as a school nurse for the Grandview School District until her full retirement in 2015. She then moved to Warsaw.

Sallie shared 32 wonderful years with her significant other, Jack Donnelly, of the home. She is also survived by her sons, Chad Richardson (Amanda) and Michael Richardson (Heidi), her brothers, Ed Kroll (Renee), Stephen Kroll (Karen), Bryan Kroll (Lorye), her sister, Nancy Sanderson (Steve), many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Aileen Kroll, and a sister Aileen Montgomery.

Sallie blessed everyone she met with her beautiful soul and wonderful sense of humor. Her kindness, warmth, and compassion touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. 

A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on June 27, 2026, at the American Legion Post 217 in Warsaw, Missouri. Memorial donations in memory of Sallie may be made to Benton County Hospice or the American Legion Post 217 Women's Auxiliary.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Warsaw Funeral and Cremation.
