Obituary

Troy Scott Phillips, age 60, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on May 5, 1965, the son of Jerry and Kay Deaton Phillips.

He attended High School at Southwest High School in Ft. Worth and moved to Missouri in 1999. He was married to Ren Pinkston Jones and then married to Sarah Jordon. Scott was a certified HVAC Technician and owned and operated his own business, R and R Heating and Cooling in Warsaw. Eventually he moved to Sedalia and operated Phillips Heating and Cooling and went to work for Tyson Foods in Sedalia as a HVAC Tech, working there until his death while still maintaining Phillips Heating and Cooling.

Scott’s real passion was motorcycles. He enjoyed working on them and riding them, in any weather!

Scott was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Kay Phillips, four sons, Brian Phillips, Justin Phillips, Josh Phillips and Jayce Phillips, a daughter Ashley Robinson, his longtime companion Gina Britton, a Brother, Spencer Phillips, eight grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Warsaw Funeral and Cremation in Warsaw, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held for Scott at a later date.
